The Secret Power of Protein

How much protein do you need?   People have made this statement over and over:   “You can get all the protein you need from a normal diet.”   But for WHAT “need”?   Are you just trying to sustain life or are you trying to build muscle or achieve premium muscles?   You need about 35 grams of protein daily for every 100 pounds of your body weight just to sustain life.    But research has shown that if you want to obtain maximum increases in lean mass and strength, you need at least five times that amount daily.   Now that’s a LOT of protein!   Additionally, an Oncologist can run tests which reveal whether or not you are missing MLH4 and PMS2 — and if you are missing them, it indicates you are at an elevated risk of cancer, so you need to be eating  a COMPLETE PROTEIN which contains ALL 22 amino acids!    You can’t get that from steak, but you CAN get high cholesterol from steak!   eeghaads….

Dogs and USA Welfare System

GNLD buy now graphicThis morning I went to sign my Dogs up for welfare.   At first the lady said, “Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare”.    So I explained to her that my Dogs are mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can’t speak English and have no frigging clue who their Daddies are.   They expect me to feed them, provide them with housing and medical care, and feel guilty because they are dogs.    So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify.   My Dogs get their first checks Friday.    Darn, this is a great country!   (jes’ joshin’, folks. LOL)

Oh, My Aching Back!

Donald E. Pickett, founder of the Neo-Life Company (now GNLD), shared the story of his own struggle with lower back pain in 1978.   He injured his back in 1946 and the back began to deteriorate rapidly.   He was informed that the cartilage and discs in his back had totally deteriorated and fusion of the spine was strongly recommended.   Instead he chose to wear a “chair brace”.   He wore this apparatus every day for six years.

Global Health Crisis — WHY?

Chronic disease has impacted 35 million globally — 41 million estimated by 2015.   Chronic disease is growing faster than the population itself.    The World Health Organization published a special report on how chronic diseases have impacted the world population — it said chronic diseases accounted for 88% of all deaths in 2002, essentially 9 out of 10 people.
