Some people think that credit cards are a set-up for financial ruin.   However, when used wisely, credit cards can build up your credit score, provide you with money for approximately 30 days before having to pay it off; and some credit cards actually provide a small cash back incentive for using them.   Therefore, when is it wise and useful to utilize a credit card and when should you avoid them?   The Better Business Bureau of the Southwest (BBBSW) provides sound advice on becoming more credit card savvy.
