As a result of medical research in the 1950’s, the lipids and sterols removed from wheat, rice and soy were called Tre-en-en (Greek meaning “three-in-one”) by Dr. Earl Freshman.   These lipids and sterols are patented, trademarked & marketed by only one company, GNLD, formerly known as the NeoLife Company of America, in their products Formula IV® and Tre-en-en® Grain Concentrates.

Jaroslav Heyovsky won a Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1957 for the development of the polarograph which measured hormone health in the medical research project at Hollywood’s Presbyterian Hospital.   This study was also confirmed in 1987 by Texas A&M University confirming that the “missing link” in chronic fatigue was Tre-en-en.

The human body is made of cells — approximately 73 trillion cells — many of the cells renew daily — every 7 years most of our cells are replaced and every 4 months the body makes new red blood cells.   The human body contains about 25 trillion red blood cells so the nutrient demand is enormous.

Tre-en-en® works because there are actually three layers to the cell membrane.   The 1st layer is the hormone receptor — it gives direction of what should happen in the cell and what it should secrete.    The 2nd layer is the prostoglandin layer — controlling the hormones in the endocrine system.    The 3rd layer of the cell is the enzyme activator to the prostaglandins — these have an effect on the energy and body temperature and over 1,000 different kinds of cells depend on lipids and sterols (tre-en-en).

As for supplementation, researchers found that “drug store” and “health food store” isolates and synthetic vitamins & minerals may be a problem.   They tend to over-pep us and make us restlessly active rather than strong and well because they lack the necessary lipids and sterols for cellular health.

One hundred years ago, 2,400 to 2,600 calories could supply our daily needs.   Today, 5,000 calories are required.   Today whole food supplementation is essential to optimal health.

Medical researchers were going to shelve the whole food product known as Formula IV® (containing Tre-en-en) after the study ended.   (Most multi-vitamins are 3-formula vitamins as they do not contain lipids ands sterols.)    It was the persistence of Wally Wimmer to find out the cause of his wife’s rheumatoid arthritis that today we have access to a whole food supplement known as Formula IV which has given hope and “new life” to thousands around the world.   Wally asked the head medical researcher if he could have the formula as his wife did not want to go back into the wheelchair.   The head researcher reluctantly turned around and gave him the formula along with the instructions to share it.   Another medical detail man, Donald Pickett, went into business with Wally and founded the company originally named “NeoLife” (Greek meaning “new life”).   The company is based on network marketing.

Today the company is known as Golden NeoLife Diamite (GNLD) .   Don Pickett turned it over to Jerry and Bob Brassfield in 1995.

The USDA database lists Tre-en-en as “edible oils”.   Tre-en-en contains a natural balance of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids as well as powerful sterols known as beta-sitosterol, gamma-oryzanol, stimasterol, campesterol plus octacosonol.

The USDA database lists Flaxseed Oil as NOT EDIBLE! It is used to make turpentine and paint thinners.   Other oils such as borage seed oil and oil of evening primrose may contain certain omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, but not considered in the human food chain and in the case of flaxseed, the conversion of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and ALA (alphalinolenic acid) is ineffective.

The daily cost for a capsule of Tre-en-en (case price per capsule) is only .31 cents per day.   If you would like to know more about GNLD’s Tre-en-en, go to http://www.amazing-health-products.com/tre_en_en.htm (Independent Distributor since 1985)
